"A Taste of Animethon"
A one day event held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the MacEwan University downtown campus.
Get a sneak preview of Animethon 17 and pre-register while having fun! Event activities include:
– A Vendor’s room with both dealers and artists.
– Cosplay contest
– AMV block of comedy and fun videos.
– Panels
– Anime showings
– And more!
Admission: $5; kids under the age of 10 free with paying guardian.

Animethon
ASAPA's flagship event and raison d'ętre is the yearly convention,
Animethon. Originally a small student convention run by the
University of Alberta's anime club,
BAKA, it now attracts over 4,000 patrons yearly, between the ages of 6 and 60 (sometimes more.) Animethon 16 will occur on August 7-9, 2009, at the Grant MacEwan city centre campus in downtown Edmonton; we hope to see you there!
