Japanese Street Styles Fashion Show - Taking Registrations

Do you LOVE Japanese fashion? Well, this fashion show is perfect for you then!

Concepteur De L'Amour translating to "Designer Love" is created by students in their high school to post secondary years - the show first debuting at A Taste of Animethon. We are not based on competition, nor promoting publicity for the models, but rather - ensuring everyone has fun while feeling independent, beautiful and stylish as they walk the stage. Inspired by the strong love for Japanese street fashion, we developed the idea of hosting a fashion show dedicated to Japanese fashion so that everyone else may enjoy it just as much as we do! So come out and see for yourself the exciting and outrageous styles that the rest of the world has yet to know about!

The form will include desciptions about each position. The following positions are avaliable -

- Runners/Assistants

The style pamphlet will give you a better idea of what styles are avaliable for you to choose from. There are over 29 different styles avaliable! Excluding lolita. Lolita will not be included in the show for obvious reasons. So take a look! This style pamphlet only offers pictures and the name of the style, another guide with short descriptions of each style will be avaliable shortly! In the meantime, we're looking for as many models as possible! There are absolutely no expectations or standards to particpate in this show!

** This is First come, First serve! Only 3 people are only allowed to model one style! This is to prevent too many people selecting one style! The first three that register and sign for that one style, the style will no longer be avaliable for others to pick and will be crossed out below in the list.

FINAL DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ALL YOUR FORMS IS JULY 31, 2010. ALL FORMS SUBMITTED AFTER THE DATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

The fashion show will be apart of Animethon 17. However, we don't know the exact time of the event yet, but it'll likely be on the Sunday.

I've already talked to Adam about it and completed the form as well. This post is simply a way for me to find some people that are interested in the show and would model. It then saves us less hasty work for later. I hope that is okay. =O if not, feel free to delete the post.

No, unfortunately. This show is just to model styles through your preference. Essentially, you are building an outfit that best suits one of the categories and showing your work off. However, if you're asking if cosplaying characters counts as styles - then it depends. Anime such as Kuroshitsuji, Sugo Chara, Nana and the like are definitely workable to the fashion show and you can take part under the condition that you have to have your own touches to the cosplay - so that it's not entirely an exact replica of the character's look. Hopefully that answers your question. =)
